By the Sea

Earlier This Year...

Lido Key, FL: File this one under most amazing trips. This should be my final beach post for some time to come. I have been meaning to post these photos, so I am glad to finally have them up. Taking a journey down memory lane from February of this year....

This was right before we hit the road for home. I am wearing a very casual, travel-ready/beachy outfit, I found the flannel shirt while thrifting in Florida. I love the pastel colors of everything. Winter in Florida is like living in the clouds. It is both cool and misty; with the ocean at its most mysterious.

Summer is slipping.

Yes, my favorite time of year is already fading away. Soon again it will be fall, the time of year for layers and pumpkin spice. I plan on making the most of our last weeks of warmth. Virgo season is upon us as well, which means I will be a year older in the next few weeks. Eeek.
I am way overdue to post some actual, everyday looks of mine, so I plan on doing that very soon! Keep an eye out guys :-)

Long time, no see!

I am so happy to be posting for the first time in literally forever. I cannot say when it will finally happen, hopefully this year, but I plan to re-do my entire blog! I really need to get back into the swing of my passions again. Adulting has taken over the past year of my life, and now it is my time to find myself again!

I mean, I am about to be 27 years old and I still have no clue which path to take or what I am supposed to do with the rest of my life. I am sort of at a crossroads with my soul. One day I am up and one day I am down. What can I say? Life is no piece of cake. Maybe I have been having a quarter life crisis... Whatever the reason, it is time to get back on track with myself and everything that makes me happy. There are lots of changes happening this year and I am going to try my hardest to stay positive.  I just want to be someone who is happy. I don't want to be that person in 10 years who wakes up and says...hmm how did this happen? Out of everything my heart always returns to the same place, the place it's forever yearning for... Fashion. So, why not pour myself into it and let go of my fears? For much of my life this has been easier said than done. It is time to saddle up and bring my dreams to fruition. It is just simply time.

And to whomever takes their time to read this slow cooking blog of mine, keep up with me on Instagram or Tumblr, I want to thank you. I would love to network more, work with any photographers that need a lady to pose, collaborate creatively, or simply sip coffee and chat about life.

Okay, enough blabbing away...but again, thank you! I promise another post is not too far off. Links to my Instagram & Tumblr are to the right. :-)

Much love,

Ravyn Alyxandra
